Who am I?
My name is Tim Giesenberg, and I am a software developer, passionate cyclist, tech enthusiast, and love to explore.
How did I become a Software Developer?
I started my career with an apprenticeship as an IT Systems Electronics technician at a large German telecommunications company. After completing the apprenticeship, I had the opportunity to study Media Informatics at the Fachhochschule Düsseldorf (now known as Hochschule Düsseldorf / HSD). For my studies, I had to complete an internship over several months, which I did at the company where I am currently employed.
What am I doing right now?
I am a full-stack web and software developer. I have worked on projects involving maintaining and extending Windows software, building backends with Django (Python), and Pimcore (PHP).
And apart from my work?
I engage in various forms of cycling, from road cycling and trekking to downhill mountain biking. The boulder gym is no stranger to me, and I also love being outdoors, whether it's tending to a garden or going on hikes to explore my surroundings.
